JT is currently the Environmental and Social Risk Management (ESRM) Director with the Sustainable Finance Team of Standard Chartered Bank. He started engaging with RSPO when he joined Golden Agri Resources (GAR) in 2010 and underwent the RSPO Lead Auditor training conducted by Wild Asia.
JT was involved in multiple projects while working for GAR, including leading the High Carbon Stock (HCS) project in collaboration with Greenpeace and the Tropical Forest Trust (TFT), now known as the Earthworm Foundation, and supporting GAR’s RSPO certification efforts. He also participated in the 2013 RSPO Principles & Criteria (P&C) review and provided feedback during the early phase of the establishment of the Greenhouse Gas protocol as well as the Zoological Society of London (ZSL)’s SPOTT, where he was in the technical committee during his tenure with Credit Suisse as Vice President, Sustainability Risk.
An active participant of the RSPO Financial Institutions Consultative Group (FICG) from day one, JT was one of the group’s rotating chairpersons. He was also involved in the sustainability initiatives led by the finance regulators, including Bank Negara and Indonesia OJK. More recently, JT was the Banks and Investors’ substantive member of the RSPO Standard Review 2022 - 2023 Task Force.

Wendy is the global lead for Environmental and Social (E&S) Risk Management in the Wealth and Retail Banking segment at Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). In this role, she is responsible for enhancing governance frameworks, strengthening E&S risk processes, and providing strategic advisory on E&S risks/sustainability across deals, products, and partnerships across Affluent and Private Banking and SME Banking.
With over a decade of experience in sustainability, Wendy has worked across various industries including the built environment and financial sectors, specialising in carbon management and climate adaptation. Prior to joining SCB, Wendy served as Impact Director with ABC Impact, the impact investing arm of Temasek Trust Asset Management, where she led initiatives driving sustainable impact across its portfolio.
