Summary of Nominee Profile
At Unilever, I lead the environmental and social supply chain risk management and the delivery of corporate sustainability commitments associated with company’s global major commodity sourcing of palm oil. This includes close coordination with Unilever's commercial teams and day-to-day contact with strategic suppliers on sustainable and responsible policy compliance, corporate supply chain traceability mechanisms, deforestation-free supply chain agenda, regenerative agriculture programs, and decarbonization / net zero roadmaps. I lead the implementation of Unilever's produce-protect-inclusion models at a landscape and/or jurisdictional level in Southeast Asia, managing the delivery and the nature-based impact of these programs in partnership with organizations such as Conservation International and World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF). I also work to deliver smallholder programs that drive scalable models and positively impact farmer livelihoods. I work with a global team and manage consultants and civil society partners to address systemic issues in the commodity sector. I represent Unilever at international and domestic forums to support Unilever's transformational agenda through the implementation of the company's People and Nature Policy and lead engagement with various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other external stakeholders.
