Kuan-Chun Lee is a Director Principal Scientist in the Corporate Sustainability organization at Procter & Gamble based in Singapore. Kuan-Chun leads the technical sustainability strategy, priority and efforts on P&G’s 3-pillar palm sustainability program on Supply Chain Fundamentals and Management, Compliance Monitoring, and Partnership & Force for Good – playing a critical leadership role across all three pillars. He was awarded the 2020 Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) Global Partners Capacity-Building Award for contribution on advancement and education in sustainable environmental sciences, quality and policy-making.
Kuan-Chun joined the RSPO Smallholder WG in 2014. Since then, he served in the 2018 RSPO P&C Review Task Force, Smallholder Interim Group for RSPO Independent Smallholder Standard (RISS), Jurisdictional Approach WG, No Deforestation Task Force, No Deforestation Joint Steering Group, Assurance Standing Committee, and has been member of the new 2023 P&C and ISH Standards Review Steering Group. He co-chairs the RSPO Smallholder Standing Committee and has been serving in the Board of Governors from November 2018.
Kuan-Chun received Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University, U.S.A. He joined P&G Japan at the Kobe Technical Center in 1999, before moved to Singapore in 2011. His responsibilities covered environmental risk assessment, sustainable innovation strategy and life cycle assessment (LCA) to improve environmental footprints on renewable materials, solid waste, and products, and is leading the ongoing P&G WWF Malayan Tiger Conservation Project in Peninsular Malaysia. Professionally, he served as the President of the Society of Environmental Toxicology & Chemistry (SETAC) Asia-Pacific Geographic Unit in 2016-2018, and is currently member of the Industrial Advisory Board, and Honorary Adjunct Associate Professor of the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute in Singapore.

Mario Abreu is Vice President Sustainability for the Ferrero Group since 2020, His role involves workig with the wider Sustainability team and the Executive Chairman’s strategic staff to deliver Ferrero’s sustainability goals. Prior to Ferrero, Mario was VP Sustainability for Tetra Pak, and has served in the Board of FSC International ,the steering committee of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative, the technical advisory Group of SBTi, and also a trustee of the Proforest Initiative.
